Not wanting to jinx the deal so have been pretty quite regarding our recient purchase of a 2007 320 Sundancer. Reciently closed, so it is official.
We can barely contain our excitement. Unfortunately, she will stay put in Missouri untill early spring. All I have untill then are pictures and videos of the seatrial and survey. We took a trip to inspect her prior to offer, but man o man, this winter wait is going to drive us nuts. Hoping to get her home prior to being tugged to the marina as I have a couple projects planned. 1st is to build the camper canvas. The wife needs to do her thing, spit shining the interior. She is like a cat, she needs to get "her" scent on the boat. I have some navagation gear to install as well. As I said, the wait is going to be a bitch.
I will be looking forward to my wallet closing up just a bit, buying the boat, having a trailer made, purchasing a slip, wow...... come on spring......

wow the waiting would be rough

congrats!

Congrats!!! You know it will feel like forever for spring to arrive.
We moved up to our 340SDA from a 260DA also - you're gonna love the space on the 320.
Now we need the obligatory pictures.... ;)

I love your way of thinking....by the way, i just finished snowblowing the drive way, the whole time thinking how much room the boat will take up in my driveway.

Congrats on the purchase! You will love the 320. We put a cantilever style camper canvas on this year and it really is an upgrade over the old fastback style. Enjoy!

320 Sundancer is a great boat-what's on your to do list when she's berthed?

Contrats Mike,
Your settup is just like the 06 320 i just sold to my marina neighbor, outdrives with shifters, and throttles.
I did a lot of upgrades to mine and really enjoyed it as my dock neighbor is.

Congratulations! We bought an 06 320 Dancer a couple of months ago. So far, its been fun and as Newbies, we are delighted that we haven't crashed a dock (yet). We expected to dump some cash into it after we ran it a bit and we were right about that. : ). We now expect for the cash flow to drop from "severe" to "moderate bleeding", as boats go. Its an awesome boat.

Once I get her moved home I will start on the camper canvas. Regarding electronics, I am currently looking at the Axiom 9. I am not interested in the fishfinder but the gps looks interesting. The wife wants a tv installed on the bulkhead wall, I probably do away with the original 15". Other than that, spend the year getting use to her. Can't wait.

The Axiom looks like a nice unit - I just got one (actually coming for Christmas) and can not wait to install. BOE Marine has great prices and are very helpful answering questions. Also, Raymarine just ran a combo rebate with the Quantum Radar (ended 12/15) so keep an eye out for after new year discounts. Bulkhead TV is also on the winter to do list.

I think I saw that boat on boattrader? The only one out there with the 496's and Bravo III's!
That is going to be one FAST vessel.
Congratulations!
Not wanting to jinx my own deal but, we are looking at a 330 with the same setup.
I see a lot of us coming from the same boat too...260's lol
Great boat to get hooked on the lifestyle.
❤️

Good luck on your deal. What year are you looking at? We really like our 260, it is going to be tough getting rid of it. It's been a great boat for us. Regarding the 496's and Bravo setup. Lots of opinions and information. Get the right boat for you and your area of cruising. Waiting till spring is going to be a b#*ch. Merry Christmas...

It's a 2009, so it's the newer 350. 148hrs..seacore. Having new manifolds/risers, bellows and fresh water flush done by selling dealer. We are saltwater. I know the prevailing wisdom would be V drives. But I love the added performance of stern.
And I don't mind the maintenance. It's not that much and we have much more space to work with underneath.
Sold my 260 last month. Absolutely loved that boat. The 320 is very reminiscent of it too. There's something I really find very attractive about that 320..the shape, dimensions, and especially the performance with that setup. Oh, and you still have the portside Lounger!
We'll both be ripping it up soon:)
