This is a bit out of my area of expertise, so I'll pose the question here.
I need to replace the pump pulley on the raw water Johnson pump for a Westerbeke 7.0 BCG
The red paint cost on this part is unbelievable. Try $350+
As best as I can determine I need a single sheave, 3V belt size (3/8), 3.x inch OD, 1/2" bore shaft with set screw. 3.15 inch OD fits well.
I can find the pulley with all specs except the belt sizing. The closest one is a TB Woods BK3012. Has a 4L sheave width (1/2") instead of 3/8", so it won't work. 11 bucks.
Thanks, and this will go to the list of Westerbeke cross sourcing.
If you know something that I don't about why this part is North of 300 bucks, please share.

What is wrong with the old pulley? You'd be surprised what a small local machine shop can do to repair small parts like this for short $. Cash talks! Good luck

given those dimensions its a standard sized pully, Try industrial supply, tractor supply, home/garden tool repair shop , lawnmower shop, etc.

Not the same generator (Quicksilver) but I got new raw water pump with a new pulley from the pump manufacture fro $350. Pump seal had failed.

Found the same pulley with a 3V (3/8") sheave for $7.50 at Zorro
Works great! Also belt crosses to a Gates 40.5" 3/8" for 6 bucks
Johnson pump, same as the Westerbeke is 305 shipped from Marysville Marine's retail site
Now in the process of hooking up my oil pressure and water temp gauges from the genset to the helm.
I have purchased and mounted a digital panel meter that displays voltage, frequency connected up to the 120 mains on leg 1. great for fine tuning the governor for proper 60hz at 1800 rpm.
