Well I figured it out. The pump works as an accessory when the ignition is turned backwards. Just like the radio but in the port engine. It definitely pulls water from thru the hull. The wife ain't gonna go for this so I'm planning on plumbing it into the freshwater system. Any advice, links and threads to help me get this done? Thanks guys
That's odd that yours draws from the seawater, so do you have a separate pump for this shower? I have the same transom shower but mine uses the freshwater tank and the freshwater pump.
The issue I am trying to figure out now is that the transom shower has great water pressure! But my shower in the cabin has terrible water pressure. I need to figure that one out. I had to replace my water pump last year because it died out so I know the pump is good.
The other issue I am working on now is that my generator is draining my batteries with the blower on. Ah, but you say, the battery charger/inverter should provide enough power to run those and charge the battery. Yes, but the engine bay gets so hot that the battery charger shuts down, lol. The genny alternator should put out enough power to charge those plus run the blowers.
I am still enjoying my 270.
