What the heck is going on with our country?

Downhill? Hardly. The Dow is up about 27% from January 20 when
PRESIDENT Trump took office, unemployment is down and it appears that Trump's tax package is about to be passed.

Maybe it's time you snowflakes started looking for the truth instead of just swallowing the crap the mainstream media feeds you.
Thank you! Snowflakes need a vacation.

I tend to use the term snowflake for everyone that whines, cries or in general has a tantrum when things don't go the way they want. The term can be applied to both conservatives and liberals equally, but in my experience it does tend to apply to liberals more. Its more about how you deal with the difference of opinion rather than the difference itself
I am a Snow, but not a flake. Here is my new to me, needs cosmetics and electronics 340 Sea Ray. Does it look familiar?

I have a lot of Canadian friends and family and they all share your point of view... It's okay... It's just a car burning.

I was up in Ontario over the holidays and my brother in law showed me this tax summary for 2017. Keep in mind they also pay 13% sales tax after income tax... $40 for a case of beer... And $3.8oUS for a gallon of gas ..... Electric and natural gas is through the roof where a lot of my family and friends have timers to run dishwashers and dryers and wash machines off peak hours....And they still need supplemental health insurance for what the government doesn't cover... Including dental....Socialism doesn't work...

Some folks don't want to be confused with facts as they might point out to them the errors in their opinions. If you can't dazzle them with facts baffle then with bull spit.

funny how Clinton gets a hummer in the White House, Obama spends 8 years in office and they were both Democrats. Hillary give Uranium to the Russians
and you dis-enchanted Democrats still pick on a President that was elected
BY THE AMERICAN CITIZENS who will make America Great again

The Dow is up due to speculation that regulations and tax laws will be enacted to favor businesses, the Dow has been on a steady climb since 2009, BTW. President's policy has very little effect on it as the Fiscal year for the US just started in OCT 2017.
I know I am benefiting from the rise of the Dow!
Calling people "snowflakes" seems to be a fall back position for any one who has a different opinion from that of a Conservative. It really serves no purpose other than to damage the credibility of the person using it. Citing facts is usually a better argument.
The country going "downhill" is just one persons opinion, but we definitely are more divided than ever. As evidenced by the passionate opinions expressed here and on other Social Media sites.

Facts? Let me show you a chart of the DJIA from the past decade.
DJIA_2009-2019.jpg

Now let's look at a few things on here. Since these are from historical data, we can count on them as facts, easily verifiable from a variety of sources.

When Obama took office the DJIA was at 7949. On the day Trump took office it was at 19732, a gain of 11,783, or an average gain of 122.7 points per month.

But of more importance, look at the period from the beginning of 2015 until the election at the end of 2016, which by the way, Trump won. The DJIA was rangebound for that entire period and didn't gain at all. So your comment about the DJIA being on a steady climb since Obama took office is not exactly true. Close, but no cigar. Oh, speaking of cigars, have you seen what Bill Clinton has...but I digress. Sorry.

Also look at the volume of stock trades over the time Obama was in office. It is a steadily declining volume which indicates a decreasing confidence in his performance and the outlook for the country as a whole.

Now look at the period of almost a year since Trump has been president. When Trump got elected the DJIA was at 19,732. Today it closed at 24,922 for a gain of 5,190 points, or an average of around 451 points per month, or about 3.7 times as much gain per month as when Obama was in office.

But of more importance, look at the volume numbers starting with the day Hillary lost the election. (And such a tear jerker day it was for all those poor snowflakes. Since my credibility on here in some eyes is already at rock bottom it can't be damaged much further.) It went from around 100 million shares per day to around 350 million shares per day. Again, about a 350% gain.

I submit that this HUGE increase in the DJIA and the similar increase in the volume of shares traded does rely in part on speculation that economic conditions will be favorable, but it also is an indicator of the confidence in our new president that he will carry through on his election promises, many of which he has already done.

In a way it's a shame Hillary didn't win the election because we could have seen what the DJIA thought of her. But, to quote her, "What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?"

None, I guess. Darn, there goes my credibility again. Sorry.

Trump groped this, in public

weird......

Jessica Leeds looks more like Bill Clintons taste.....just sayin'

To keep it simple. Just open up your 410k. We all gained 25% +/- in a year!! However, Democrats will say that it was 8 years of Obama policies finally working.. Can you imagine where we'd be if Clinton was elected

She claims it happened in the late '70's so she might have been in better shape then.

Another 40 year old accusation and we're being told that we 'must believe them'. Some real BS goin' on......

I can imagine it....Bill would be in seventh heavan with the interns, Huma would be White House Chief of Staff and Carlos Danger would be Secretary of State instead of in jail....OH YA, and they'd all be laughing their asses off.

Out of all of this controversy, this is the only photo of Jessica Leeds I can find from that era on a search....so, I'm assuming, this is her 'best' photo.

It just doesn't seem plausible that a Manhattan boy who's into exotic fashionable women would be into an earthy Anne Murray type........

I think a third party that was on the plane came forward and discredited Leeds shortly after this allegation was made, as a result, the press dropped the story like a hot potato.

at least Jessica Leeds likes boats..........
