2016 Upgrade Photos (Floor-TV /Old TV Cubby /Electrical Control panel /DE-Golding)

What type of network for your wifi and Apple TV did you setup? Do you have a hard wired internet connection at your dock or are you streaming with wifi?

Your projects results are AMAZING!

Curious how you went about "de-golding" the push button surrounds on the cabinets, I'd love to do the same to my 280

I know smartcraft is constantly being discussed, but I am about to add a NMEA2000 converter as well. Could you add a simple wire diagram / part numbers for the smartcraft gear you used?

Solid core

I'm glad that my mind was in the same place as someone else here. The upgrades look good but solid core wiring is not meant for use in locations that move or are subject to vibration. Stranded wire is used to allow movement of the wire without fatigue over time. Solid core is not meant for this and can cause issues down the road. Just my 2¢.

Hey guys so I spent like a hour trying to figure out how to sort these photos on photo bucket but the site runs like crap and when i manually sort the photos (which took too long) as soon as you go to slide show it goes back to what ever order it feels like soo unfortunately all the pics are out of order but i think you get the idea... Finally finished up the 2015-2016 off season projects was alot of work but the boat is a different machine now! Love it and caint wait for our fist tip... Now that all these projects are completed I come how from work and dont know what to do with myself lol... i think my generator just decided it wants some attention so ill probably be doing that shortly (Head Gasket) not as rewarding but....

Perfect timing for us as I'm going to rip up the carpet in our 290 this winter. I love the look of this stuff and will probably get a sample. It says it comes in 72" x 12" pieces cut to length. I'm guessing the holly stripes run the length, right?
