My boat had the canvas replaced by previous owner but I still have a collection of old canvas covers. Not sure if they are original but I'm trying to identify them. Is there a diagram somewhere of canvas that came originally with the boat? I was able to identify the windlass cover and a couple of hatch covers but nothing else. One looks like it may may wrap the radar arch but doesn't seem to fit. Also have one that is a long rectangle with 2 large circles cut out. Can't figure that one out. I guess I should've taken some pictures.

Separate but related question, what's everyone's opinion on canvas for the winter for a boat that stays in the water? The boat has a full bimini with eisenglass curtains that are just a year old. It also has an older cockpit cover. Assuming I don't shrinkwrap, I was considering removing the eisenglass but leaving the bimini top up. This would allow me to snap the cockpit cover on. We are in KY so don't get a ton of snow, if any at all. Bimini is nice and tight so should shed most of the rain. Cockpit cover would stop any blowing rain. Don't know if it's just extra wear and tear on the new bimini to leave it out all winter.

Thanks!

Well, pictures of the canvas you currently have on the boat would help tell what some of the other pieces may be. The one for the arch may be a boot for the bimini if you fold up the canvas and poles to keep it neat. The rectangle with cut outs beats me but like I said pictures may help.

as far as winter storage...

I would not be so worried about what the winter weather was going to do to the canvas. I would be more worried about what all the water and ice freezing and thawing is going to do to every little nook and cranny that it can get into. If it were me i'd want to have my boat covered completely. I understand that you are in KY but you still get ice storms and we all know what ice is capable of doing to rock and roads...

Do not leave the bimini up in the Winter.
