Anyone know who's owns the 480 DB in Miami in the background of the CNN reporter?

It's a 560. No idea who current owner is, but by this afternoon the insurance company might own it.... if it's insured.

Have watched TV coverage off and on today - not constant.

Has anyone seen and news or heard personal reports out the Keys?

Haven't heard the Keys mentioned at all.

That is probably because there isn't anyone left on the keys. With an elevation of about 7 ft in Key West and a 5-10ft surge predicted, I suspect everyone left town while they could.

But, there will be some old conchs to surface next week (I hope) and we'll hear the story......

Have been watching pretty much non stop coverage. Saw one marina with about every boat in that marina either over turned or sunk in their berth. Very sad to see. Can't imagine not hauling and securing on land. Don't have that kind of issue in Nor Cal so can't relate and certainly not gonna judge anyone's decision. Just can't imagine dealing with the after math of that experience.
Best of luck to all affected.

Key West appears to have faired better than expected. Galleon marina boats all faired well from a report I got through FB. Rutherford east of KW not so fortunate. Snappers resturant basically all gone and boats all over the highway on Deer Key.

Don't know anything about Stock Island where I have reservations this winter!

Fingers crossed for all that have boats or homes in Florida. Even with insurance, it is terrible to lose either. John (Wet Paint here on CSR) has his catamaran in Key West. He headed North before the storm hit but his boat that he lives on was left in the marina. Insurance would replace it but boats are so personal, it would really suck to lose one with so many fond memories.

Old town KW is said to be in pretty good shape. Some but not all marinas have some significant damage. It could have been a lot worse1

Have found more information about the Key's by searching on youtube than anywhere else.

What I picked up was Marathon area hit the worst. Heard an interview the Mayor of Islamadora did - he mentioned it was worse in Marathon, his comment was the City Marina was wiped out.
