aspiring to purchase Sea Ray 47, 44, or 420 sedan bridge

Sea Rayers....

We are now trying to decide whether to purchase a 47 Sedan Bridge, 44 Sedan Bridge, or 420 Sedan Bridge. One important factor is the ability to properly / safely carry our tender. While the 420 and 47 offer a factory option hydraulic lift ...the 44 does not. Can someone please explain further...does this mean the boat wasn't designed for it?...and or does this mean that another regular system (Sea Wise, Roskelly Olsson, Sea Weed) can be applied?
Please kindly advise what you know or have heard in this regard.

Thanks

Wayne

You should be able to contact Sea Ray customer service and ask them the capacity of the transom on the boat you're considering. They can tell you whether a hydraulic lift is something that can be added on or is not advisable. I have started to determine that there is no perfect system for carrying a dinghy. They are almost all with their flaws.

44 and 420 in the mid to late 2000's should be fine as it was a factory option. I am pretty sure I read that they made the transoms on all boats for the lift even if it wasn't ordered but as mentioned you should call sea ray with an HIN to verify.
