My wife (Lori) and I leave after work today for St. Petersburg for our annual vacation. This is something we look forward to every year. We love the area and plan to move down there after we retire (in 6 yrs or so).
This year, however, will bring mixed emotions. We bought our first boat this year, a 1995 Sundancer 230. We have completed renovated the boat and love spending weekends on her on Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, we won't be able to go out on her for the next 3 weekends (2 in FL and then we have a family picnic the following weekend).
We may look at renting a boat down there for a day just to get out. Or if anyone in the area will be going out in the next week+ and wouldn't mind a little company, shoot me a message. We would love to meet some fellow boaters down there.
