Have fun Ken! Where are you going this year? We are going to cool off in San Francisco this weekend at a Giants-Cardinals game. It'll be nice to get out of the heat. Seems like it's been one long heat wave since May!

Dan

looks like Harvey aftermath will be making it wet around here for the week and weekend.

There saying rain for us Sat, into Sunday am hopefully it get out of here early enough Sunday so we can get half of Sunday and maybe Monday... But everyone knows the deal on Monday..... Tuesday work day comes around early am...

Rain here as well but at least no flooding. Ken and Dan, you guys have gotten all the hot weather since I left. But because of the humidity we get those reports that say, "Temperature - 88....Feels Like - 106" Doesn't matter much as I am still putting the Cobalt back together anyway.

Stay hydrated.... I recommend plenty of liquids.

I'm more looking forward to after Labor Day when there's less boat traffic and "somewhat" cooler temps. This former Jersey Boy still trying to acclimate to this heat, humidity and RAIN here in lower AL.

Yeah the rain definitely sucks this summer. I just moved here last year and everyone is saying this is not normal. Last August I had to pull sprinklers out to water the lawn, this year I'm pumping water out of the pool. The one thing I have discovered about living on the Gulf Coast.... There are "weather patterns" but just because the weather fit the "pattern" last year does not mean it will fit this year....or next.

It's going to be hot, hot, hot here this weekend. Temps of 95* to 100*. We'll be spending at least one night anchored out somewhere, and will be taking kids and grandkids out Sunday for an afternoon/evening cruise with burgers and dogs for dinner.

The rest of the time we'll be spending in the pool trying to keep cool.

Going to Lake Delevan in southern Wisconsin for the weekend. Staying at Lake Lawn Resort. They have a nice marina. My daughter is getting married on Saturday. She insisted we bring the boat. Weather is cooperating. Monday looks a little windy. Boating tomorrow before the rehearsal dinner at a local supper club. Maybe a few hours Saturday morning. Sunday and Monday as much as we can. Looking forward to the long weekend for many reasons!
