We're selling our beautiful, fresh water 400 Dancer. She's a great boat. The kids are growing up quick, so we're moving to a 480 DB.
Cats with 770 original hours, new canvas, 2 new Samsung Smart TVs, dual air/heat, just a great great boat!
We spend every weekend on the boat, so she's washed every Friday morning and everything works. We're sad to see her go.

Beautiful!! If sales information around here is accurate, that shouldn't last long. Do you have any further links or information on how you upgraded the shower head? We need to do that too, but I'd love to see how you did it.

She looks well cared for! Good luck with the sale and search for your new 480DB :)

Hi Z, thanks for the note! It was actually the easiest boat fix ever. $18 shower head off Amazon! It's called the "Niagra Earth Massage Handheld". I think they make a few of them. Just unscrew the old one, put some plumbers tape around the male end, and screw in the new one.

Beautiful 400 Dancer. You if love the 480DB, if you decide to got that route. Great for making runs up into Lk Huron and love to sit up in the bridge at the Lk Huron state harbors, looking out over the break wall at all that open blue water.

Hi are you selling through broker only or private as well

jamie
Hey Jamie,
Not sure why I'm just seeing your message. Boat is back on the market. You can contact me directly. Just sent you a direct message.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick

I was able to view your boat with broker, but we went with something closer to home as a friend was getting out of boating.

Good luck with sale, very few with the Cats available.

Jamie

FWIW it seems like you have a pretty good broker working with you (hopefully you already know this?!). I contacted a slew of brokers during my search for a 400 this year, including yours. He was one of the few that took the time to get back to me and send me additional info on your boat.

That's a good looking '97. Best of luck and I hope you can make a deal this year yet!

I've started to look for a 400/410 and I can confirm your experience with the brokers. I have literally emailed 5 of them and called a couple, no answers from anyone. I'm not local to any of the boats, and I make that known in the emails, so maybe they think I'm not serious. Very frustrating

Hey, we're back on the market! Only had tire kickers this summer, and couldn't find the right bigger boat for us, so we weren't real motivated. She's ready for her new home now. I even cleaned out all the cabinets and all personal belongings, so she's gotta go. Call Scott! https://www.yachtworld.com/core/lis...er&&hosturl=hossackmarine&&ywo=hossackmarine&

Well....I would say I wasn't just kicking tires! I did end up buying a 97 400....:)

Good luck with your sale!

There's a WTB for a 400 now in the Grand Rapids, MI Craigslist. Might be worth contacting if he's not one of your previous tire kickers.

I just saw that list night as well. I think it said 98-2000 or something like that? Still worth a shot for sure.

Do the 97 vs 98 have different arch height like the 370?

MM

I would assume there is no difference at the arch. I slip next to a 99 400 and there are zero differences in the cockpit between mine and his. I want to say 98 was the first year they offered the gas 8.1 vs the 7.4....but I'm very much guessing on this.

I also believe the arch height is the same. My 99' has the 7.4's and I agree with Stee6043 that there is no difference in the cockpit other than maybe the Captain's seat.
