I recently purchased a 04' 360 and everything works(ed) perfect on it. I had used the water several times with no problems, could hear the pump kick on and the off when used and the pressure was great. 2 weeks ago I hooked up the dock water for the first time just to try it out and all was well. Now when I use the water it quickly looses pressure to a trickle and the pump turns on. If I turn the water off the pump stops once pressure is restored but when I use the water it again looses pressure quickly and the process repeats.

Ive only had bow riders in the past so this is new stuff to me so I dont know if i did something wrong when I hooked up the dock water. Seemed pretty straight forward though, plug in hose to outlet=water

I plan on checking the pump and filter this weekend but wanted to hear of any other opinions

When you said "Now when I use the water", does that mean you're off dock water and using the onboard pump again?

You're correct - it should "just work" as the dock water bypasses the pump (it's downstream of the pump).

Are you having issues at all faucets? First thing that comes to mind is a somewhat common issue of the aerators being clogged. Remove them and check it out.

Yes Im having the problem while off of dock water and it is at all faucets including the head. I first thought aerators too but its at all the faucets and it happened all at once

1) when connected to "city water" did you use a pressure regulator ? City pressure exceeds our boat limits...
2) when connected to "city water" did you turn your water pump off as stated in the owner's manual ?

1) I did NOT use a regulator
2) Pump was off

Is it possible the "city water" pressure screwed the pump?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a pressure regulator a standard feature? Meaning, it's built into the dock side water fitting (where a hose connects)? Do they fail?

Another quick thing to check (I'd at least check one of the aerators)... There's a small filter at the pump that is between it and the onboard tank. Could have been some crap in the tank from not being used.

There is a small screen filter @ the pump and possibly a cartridge filter somewhere ? I have had issues with 90% of my fresh water line connectors, tees, elbows, etc and have replaced them....

Just to reiterate what has already been said... It's likely the screen filter on the intake (vacuum) side of your fresh water pump.

Thanks for the response I will check the filter this weekend. I just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing something. I double checked the manual (online) and it doesn't say anything about using a regulator. It just states to hook up a hose directly to the boat

The female hose connection on your boat has a regulator built into it which is behind the unit so you can't actually see it. Your pump issue is not related to using the shore side hose connection. Again, I'm confident you'll find the pump intake filter is plugged up with debris.

Just pulled the pump screen and it was completely clogged up. I cleaned it and now everything works again. Thanks for the help everyone!
