New equipment I found hidden

Since my boat is dead in the water for the past few weeks, I decided to dig around the panels and figuring out what is what and where things are hidden.
So I bought a battery display monitor for my boat and was looking for a place to install and run the wire from the charger too the helm and installing the rear stern speakers the previous owner disconnected.
So I took off the cup holder area by the starboard foot wall area which houses the 12v DC outlet and aux port with a cup holder. 14x14 fiberglass piece. Inside that large hidden area were all my brains for my helm equipment. I ran across this gold metal box, I thought it was an amp at first, but it was mounted to the floor with a bunch of cables on top of it. On the label it read digitswitchthingsystem.com, pi something something and power management system. Anyone know what that is or does?

From a quick glance at their website, it appears to be the brainbox for all the helm panel switches.

weird, i can't get to their website. I'll google around.

I was hoping it was a separate amp to run the speaker on the cockpit, just so i can install those extra 2 speakers in the stern area

I don't think the the switch pad EIM is going to be behind that panel. Typically one will be under the dash and one on the firewall in the bilge.

I'm thinking maybe the DTS control box or a control box for your Raymarine electronics?
