Is THIS the Magic Elixir for My boats Finish ! Re-Structure Marine Polish

Spent all day applying the Restructure Polish (I know it's a sealant not a polish!). I snapped a pic during the process. You can see the shiny areas where I wiped it off already.

It looks really good...the question will be longevity?

The website says non-soap washes will keep your boat looking great, so are you not supposed to use soap on your boat after applying?

Subscribed. Curious of longevity. Paid $600 to have my 39 EC buffed and waxed last summer. Found the guy mixed Nu-finish with a compound. Shined like new for 3 whole weeks...

If this stuff actually works I'll haul my boat to apply/use it.

She's looking good !
But as stated, HOW LONG WILL IT LAST ??
After 6 weeks in the water, I pulled mine out to inspect the bottom. The waxed part of the hull looks like it did just after the application.

I'm itching to pull the trigger but will wait to hear testimonials a few months down the road. Hauling and blocking to apply to a 40' boat ain't cheap. :)

Here is a cut and paste on Restructure Marine's reply to some questions I emailed them:

Hi David,

Glad to hear the our polish did its job.

Here are the answers to your questions:

QUESTION: Is One coat enough?
ANSWER: YES, Applying 2 coats is just a waste of polish.

QUESTION: - Will washing with boat soap remove or partially remove it?
ANSWER: No, but the use of a boat soap will actually dull the shine since all boat soaps leave a film no matter how well you try to rinse it off.

QUESTION - Will “black streak remover” from a spray bottle remove it?

ANSWER: It is possible depending on how acidic the chemical composition of the black streak remover used.

PS: To remove black streaks, just use a small amount of polish to a damp cloth and rub the black streak away.

Coverage rule of thumb: One drop of polish the size of a dime applied to a damp cloth or buffer pad will cover one square foot of surface.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

It's odd to me that this product has been on market for over 7 years but little for reviews or even vids online. In fact the only long term vid admits the boat is under complete cover which is not a harsh environment IMO.

Still looks pretty good. I have been so busy this season and my boat game has suffered.

I did not buff the boat prior to applying (boat needed it...but not happening this year). I just cleaned it vigorously with boat soap and hit some tough spots with black streak remover.

I then applied the product and called it a day.

I will take pics this weekend and post.

Did they happen to tell you how many drops per ounce? I could find nothing regarding coverage on their website.

Can anybody provide some updates on the longevity of the shine? Getting ready to do a major compound and polish on my 390 EC and would like to know if this stuff is holding up.

I bought a small bottle of this stuff with high hopes. As a test, I put it on next to Meguiar's Plastic Polish three months ago and I can't tell any difference so far. I have washed the area three times.

Clearly it’s just another tv infomercial promise. Wax and hard work keep you boat looking best.
