We are thinking about going south to the Seattle area for a night while on our charter.

Looking at Marina near downtown Seattle.

Any advice? Recommendations? Places to stay away from?

Bell harbor marina. As downtown as you can get!

Elliot Bay marina would be a close second with guest moorage. Easy Uber or Lyft ride to get downtown.

+1 to Bell Harbor. Google it and you will see it's right smack dab in the middle of where you want to be. It's just a bit north of the waterfront where all the shops and store are situated and a short hike (or better yet, a short UBER ride) up the hill to Pike Street Market area. I suggest UBER because it's one damn steep hill when you're climbing it. I understand they pretty much completely redid Pike Street Market this year. It was a great way to spend a few hours before. I can't wait to see it now.
