Hello,

I have a 2009 Searay 330 Sundancer with twin 496 mags.
Just launched the boat with fresh bottom paint, both props rebalanced and gone over...
I sync the motors and the port side engine reaches WOT at 4450RPM, when the starboard
side motor only reaches 4120 RPm..
The WOT range is 4400-48000 RPM.
Boat runs fine for cruising and will get on plane no problem. No missing at all.
All engine specs for both motors are pretty well identical...
Never had this problem before.....
Did the spark plugs all last season.
I have a RINDA analyzer..I will look for any codes that may have popped up...
I have vessel view and am showing no engine faults.

Any ideas?

I experienced something similar recently...problem was a bad fuel injector on the starboard engine was not allowing that engine to reach WOT.....otherwise it started and ran fine.....

had this issue and did fuel filters, and plugs. as i was doing it I found a plug wire off.... it was the culprit.

The 496 with computer based control can run smoothly down a cylinder as described above, just with reduced power. If you have access to Rinda or other software, while running under load kill each cylinder. You should note a loss of power every time. If one cylinder killed does not make an observable difference, that is likely the culprit to go hunting for.

Thanks for all the replies...will get the rinda on it and then change fuel filters, check plug wires, plugs.....
