Did you order that platform with the cleats. And it looks like you didn't get the vents in it as well? I like the cleats on there.

Correct, we had them add the cleats to tie off floaties, dingy, etc. We did not get it with vents.

She is finally in!

I also removed the old CRT TV/VCR combo and installed a 19" LED.

can somebody point me to a source for topside pinstriping for a 95 330da? im hoping to close next week and have been compiling a priority list of sorts.
thanks

We are new to the Club and looking forward to finding a good 1995-99 330 DA soon. We will be watching the forums for info and help to keep it in top shape.

Any of you 330 guys have any experience to compare the late 90's 330's to the 99-02 310's? Look to be in the same price range. looking at 93 330 with 7.4 mpi compared to a 2000 310 with 5.7 mpi's. Both v-drive

Any of you 330 guys have any thoughts on comparison with 99-02 310's? Seem to be priced about the same. Looking at 99 330 with 7.4 mpi compared to 2000 310 with 5.7 efi's. Both v-drive boats. Thanks

Biglurp, I looked at a couple of each while looking for our boat. A couple of things that stand out to me now. The 310 is very well served with the 350's. I looked at one with closed cooling and it snapped out of the water to get on plane. It was a delight to drive and stable. It happened to be a 98 which was the only year (I think) that had the separate closed off aft cabin. The cockpit was nice and roomy. This particular boat had other issues. I also looked at a 2001 and it's cabin layout was like the 330, but cramped. The 98 was even more cramped, but it was unique. The 330 which should have the 7.4's at least, from the factory, I know there are a few guys here that have smaller displacement replacement motors, but you pay for that with fuel. The boat feels much larger. The cockpit is roomy and comfortable. The cabin is great! Nice electric stove, fridge, decent sized sink, microwave and sleeps 4 adults well, along with 2 kids or small stature adults, depending on the style of seating arrangements. As to its performance, it is not as snappy as the 310, understandably, but handles larger chop and rollers better, if you are boating on open water. The ER of each is cramped, but I feel the 330 is a bit better, but I'm used to mine. They both are great boats, really, you can't go wrong. Just look at what you find and hopefully one of them will talk to you! Keep is all in the loop! Matt, Hifirush

Thanks! That's what I'm thinking... Looked at 2 more 330's yesterday. Both had soft areas. One on bow, other on gunnel. Do all 330's have moisture issues? Every one I've looked at so far. Thanks. Gary

I think most 20 year old boats will have some moisture spots on them. This is just due to the nature of the sealant used at the factory (apparently it is frequently under used on Sea Rays from my observations) and normal use/ deferred maintenance by the owners. It really depends where & how big of a moisture issue you are looking at. If it's a little spot at the base of a rail post, its probably not a big deal ( just my opinion ) but a larger area in the hull below a port hole etc would be a much larger issue.
