It would be great if someone could take the reins and organize a renedevous this year, I have been to busy.
we had a great time last year in South Haven!!

Charlevoix works for me if you all want to have it up north.....

Anywhere between Traverse City and Charlevoix is good for me.

Northern lake Michigan works for us, Charlevoix, Frankfort, Manistee, and Ludington everything is close by, any of those ports would work. We didn't make it last year but would like to make it this year. Jim

I boat out of South Haven. I really don't care where it is as it would give me an excuse to take a trip this summer.

We need to pick some dates that work with all if possible, I know we have at least 3 wk ends that will not work 7/14-15-16 7/28-29-30 8/11-12-13, plus we have to come up with slips.

7/14 - 16 works best for us, we will be cruising that week and could make any port. Other dates work but would have to be closer to Grand Haven.

The dates I put up are dates that are not open for us, 7/8-9 will work or 8/4-6. How far do you want to travel north Mike. Manistee and Ludington has a inside lake to raft up if the waves to bad on main lake. We will have to make a decision soon to make reservation.

Sorry, should have put my glasses on, 7-9th would work good, my vote would be Ludington.

Looks like no one want's to go to Ludington this year so just wondering where do we go from here.

Jim

We hope to be cruising that week, and hopefully north of Ludington on those dates. That being said, it is all dependent upon weather and waves. If we are in the area, we'll definitely participate. I love Ludington, but we were there last July and awoke to our entire boat covered in coal dust from the Badger. We've been there several times without too much of an impact, but that experience really stuck with me. I'm more inclined to skip that destination now.

I will check this week where we can get some slips on hold like Jeff did last year. I will check with Ludington, or Manistee or even Pentwater to see if we can do that. I know in Ludington they have a fishing tourament the week end after and a lot of fishing boats come in for pre fish.

Hello I just got off the phone with the people from MANISTEE and they will hold so slips for us, also they are gonna put in there face book page. I need to know who all wants to come, I need a name size of boat and a phone # so I can give them the info and they will sign a slip to you. She told me that with some of the slips you will need a 75 ft shore power cord. This is for the wk end of the 7-8-9th of July. If you have any ? please e-mail me at jimvmcgee@hotmail.com thanks Jim

Thanks Jim, count me in  I will need a 50ft slip or can park it on the wall if they are at the Municipal Marina. Will have my wife, daughter & dog !

Thanks Jeff for the contact all set there. For all you thinking of coming to the rendezvous the sooner we know you are coming we might be able to get slips next to each other and stay in a group. The Manistee face book page is also letting everyone it is happening. thanks Jim

We will be watching this develop, it would be great to get out and stretch the leggs on our new boat. Is anyone travelling with children? We have 7 year old and a 1 year old. Yes, our hands are full
