I spoke to Dockmaster Nick Larontonda and confirmed this date and reserved a block of slips. Once again, Rick (aka: mistercomputerman) and myself will be your co-cruise directors. We will also be assisted by Ken from the Berkeley Shores Homeowner's Civic Association. Ken was instrumental in helping us combine their annual trip to Atlantic City with our trip and without his help in organizing his group of about a dozen boats, we would have never had things go as smoothly as they did. The BSHCA is a great group of people from Dominic's neighborhood and it is a great pleasure to have their participation again this year.

As is the norm, I'll take PMs with boat name, length, beam, electrical requirements and captain's full name as I have to prepare a manifest for Farley State Marina. If you are boatless, please still consider attending and get a room in the hotel. We are going to have a few people who will come by land and air as well as by sea.

Don't worry about committing - you can cancel up to 48 hours before the arrival date. You will each have to call individually with your credit card info to reserve your slip, so just giving me your info does not reserve you a slip.

If you are unfamiliar with the format, we arrive at or around noon on Friday and start setting up for the "Table of the Gods" Friday evening. Most bring a finger-type food and a dessert but some will bring paper goods (cups, plates) and/or plastic silverware, trashbags, etc, which are very necessary items as well. This will all be pre-arranged. If you need some guidance, here's the vid from last year's trip...

THE NITTY GRITTY>>>>

1. We get a 15% discount on the slip rate - comes to $2.55/ft/day. Includes water, CATV & wireless internet. Electricity is $5/day per 30amp cord or $15/day per 50amp cord2. Check-in is 1pm. Hail on Channel 65 when you arrive. If you get there earlier and they have a spot, they will accommodate.
3. CAN
CELLATION: we can cancel the entire Rendezvous as long as we provide 14 days notice.
Each attendee may cancel with 48 hours notice. Without 48 hours notice, you will be charged for one night's slip fee

4. By their rule, I have to submit the boat info to them and then you follow up with you credit card info to reserve the slip. If you don't call with your credit card, you will not have a reserved slip.
5. There is a new DockMaster this year so for now, I will assume that the points above are still the same. If there are any changes I will post updates.

Lisa and I are automatic for this. Boat? TBD. Whatever boat we have will be called St. Somewhere.

We are in... Same info as last year..... Its too early to book for me, I have snow on my brain, not water....

You have the right power connector for the big-boy dock now, right?

We are in. Same boat as last year unless I rent it to Frank H for something insanely outrageous.

Remind them that we don't wanna go to H dock Heck, please, so Tim doesn't have to get rough with the dock boys again.

Frank, if you want F dock you must treat yourself to a 50-30-30 splitter. The spot you were in last year is litetally the only one on F with 30amp service, and if that happens to be occupato you'll wind up back on H.

Ordering one today.

Excellent!

Have fun this year folks! Wish I could make it out but already have too many travel plans this year. One trip is finally making it to the Sea Ray plant in March where maybe I can talk Rusty into a personal tour?

We'll miss you Ken!

Marshall, remember...you can cancel up to 48 hrs before. So if you don't sell the boat by mid July you can still use it. If you do sell it, call and cancel the slip reservation.

And what was wrong with H dock?

He's afraid the trip would cost him another water pump or two!

Hi Ron. The Admiral (Gwen) and I (Garry) on the "Irish Mist II" would like again to be included in this years rendezvous .I will call soon and make the slip reservation. We look forward to a great weekend. Thanks.

Marshall- my boat is for sale too (isn't EVERY boat for sale.... really?). I will either come in it, or in its replacement. :)
