I keep my boat @ Jones Inlet Marine in Freeport...

I think $35 ft so that's more than what you found... but it's a great yard with a great owner and I'm pretty sure he will let you work on your own boat... ask for Phil

For what it's worth I happened to notice an ad in Long Island Boating World for SeaSide Marina in Lindenhurst boasting $20/foot winter storage (no mention of what's included) and a "fall special" of "sign & pay by October 31 and get 10% off services."

I would recommend East Shore, very nice people

John

I winter store at Seaside 3, which was the old Surfside 3 delivery center before MarineMax bought SS3. They are $20/ft. for storage, $13.50 for haul, block and launch and $3.50/ft. For bottom pressure wash and acid and as Red Stripe wrote above, 10% discount if you pay in full before 10/31. The only work you can not do yourself that I'm aware of is bottom painting. Although Roger at CMI runs the yard you can call Julia directly at Seaside 3, 631-574-8811. I had a good experience with them last year and will be back again in a few weeks.

I shared my opinion with John in another post like Brian I agreed Rogers place is very good. I will disagree with Rick as I'm not fond of the owner at East shore , hella of an attitude. So illl never give him $1

I would also give a thumbs up to Phil and the group at Jones Inlet Marina in Freeport. Like ShaneonYou, I used them to store my boat for several years and have also been happy with them. Last year I started keeping mine in the water for the winter, but still use them for the spring short haul, engine work and bottom paint. Even on a short haul basis, they are ok with me doing work myself like zincs, etc.
