New CO detector needed

I need to replace the CO detector. It's the original and over 10 years old! this is a link to the identical unit I have but am wondering if a new version is out there that will "plug and play" with the same wiring.

Yes, I only referenced it because it was the one site I could find still showing the antique CMD-3 detector. After reading up more on Fireboy's website I believe the CMD-4 has the same wiring plug.

Mine wasn't "completely" plug and play in terms of attaching it though the wires plugged in the same way. With that said, the 1st replacement only lasted a couple of years and I've gone the big store route and just plug in a replacement with aa battery backup.

The CMD-4MR is the direct replacement for your CMD-3. However, You will want to order the conversion plate. It will cover up the the wear and openings where the larger CMD-3 unit was previously installed.
