CSR Northeast Flotilla 2016

Folks, we need to get the total headcount for Jeremey so he can make reservations. Those who'll be traveling with us to MV and Hyannis, please respond regarding whether you'd like to join us for group dinner. If we wait much longer we might end up without a place to hold large party.

We are in. Party of 3

Party of 5

Put us down for party of 5. If anything changes, I rather have couple more spots reserved than be short.

Surprise! Was not going to tell anyone but I guess I kinda have to lol

Well then, I look forward to spending some time with the little one. I guess that means your boat will not be the late night dance floor this trip......I guess we will just have to use Vinny's again. With Greg's disco lights too.

Yea most likely. Although she will probably be up dancing with us to around 10. But yea since she was sick and could not go to our Florida vacation earlier this year we decided to bring her. I'm very excited to actually spend 10 days straight with her! This will be my first real vacation alone with her

We are 5 for dinner. Same story as Alex. May end up being 4

Bob I can't guarantee we will even be at the flotilla this year but if I am? I promise to behave(only at dinner though)
Guys put us down for 5 also just in case.

Carol and I are in for dinner in MV. But if Joe is there he has to behave, otherwise we are out.

Bob,
You said you at in for MV. Are you interested in dinner at Hyannis as well? I

Based on responses we've received so far, we're looking at 30-40 people. I've communicated with Jeremy and he'll get in touch with tugboats restaurant.

Can we have a volunteer on getting a group dinner arranged in MV? At this time we had a suggestion going to Nancy's in Oak Bluffs. I'm not sure if everyone will find easy way to get around (I don't recall if there are bunch of vans we could take to/from OB), so perhaps we could look for something in Vinyard Haven area.

Regardless where we go, we need to get the reservations going ASAP. These ports are packed in the summer, so finding room for 30-40 will not be easy.

Is anyone familiar with these restaurants in VH?

I made a reservation at Tugboats in Hyannis for Friday night 8/5 at 6:30pm. http://tugboatscapecod.com/?redirect=false They do not usually take reservations so I had to beg a little and throw the SeaRay name around as well. (They are part of Hyannis Marina which is the cape Searay dealer.) I have to firm up numbers in a few weeks so keep the counts coming if you have not already said how many are in your group.

The bus and cab service on the island is very good. Buses run all day and into the night from VH to OB and Edgartown so getting around the island is easy and can be relatively inexpensive. Large van cabs are always around as well so hailing one is very easy.

I am having a hard time reading your list of restaraunts but I can read black dog tavern which is a smaller place right on the harbor but they have awesome breakfast and dinner. If you can make the pic clearer I might be able to help with the others. VH restaraunts are mostly smaller places and it is going to be difficult to find a place for the whole group I think. Nancy's would be a good option becasue it is one of the larger restaraunts on the island

On another note, something that popped into my head, If the weather turns a little while on the Vineyard, there is a bowling alley in OB that is really nice and has a restaraunt with good food. It is a 10min walk from the harbor at OB.

Another really good restaraunt in OB is The Lookout. Right in front of the ferry terminal in OB. Really good food and a nice atmosphere, it is a smaller place and the wait gets long.

Jeremy, thanks for making the reservations at tugboats.

It sounds like OB has a lot more to offer in terms of dining options, so if getting around is not an issue, I'd say let's go for restaurants in OB. This will also gives us additional inceptive to explore the area.

P.S. The restaurants in the pic are:
1. Art Cliff Diner.
2. Net Results.
3. The Black Dog Tavern.
4. La Soffitta.
