Infinity Carpet 340 Sundancer pics.....UPDATED

I have to pass on the great work Dave (Quint4) has done on my SeaRay. We worked together creating a perfect one of a kind pattern that SeaRay should have done in the first place. Some of the improvements were tighter corners. The indent at the passenger seat. The addition under the rear seat right behind the drivers seat. An addition under the fridge.. Dave now has this pattern for the people that are as particular as we are..Thanks again Dave...( Install is not complete yet. Snaps still has to go it and will tighten it up a bit)

EDIT...Updated pictured at bottom of thread..

Looks awesome! I was thinking about doing that when I get a 340 one of these days ;)

Looks fantastic!

I think most will find the cost of this type of system to be in the range of 3-5X the cost of new snap-in carpet. You can't even compare the results, however. This kind of flooring will change the entire feel of the cockpit I imagine...

That is what we are ordering on our new boat, how does it feel on the feet? Is it hotter/colder then original?

3-5x!!! No! Call Dave. It wasn't much more than snap it carpet at all...Feels real good on the feet and cleans up nice. Ask me how..hmm,hmm red wine..LOL. I was more pissed she dropped it on the seat than the floor. The seat made a small stain that I got out with Oxyclean. The floor wiped up with a paper towel.

Really? I spoke with a guy that had Infinity before I bought my snap-in. He paid 3x what I paid and if I recall correctly he installed the snaps himself. I'd have to double check that part.

Maybe you got a raging deal! ha. Had the price been more comparable I would have likely gone this route. Yours looks so, so nice. But I couldn't justify the expense in my first year since I was spending so much cash on everything else needed to cruise...

I installed the same type carpet from Corinthian last year....it was about 1 and 1/2 times more than their conventional carpet....

i don't remember the exact cost but the conventional carpet from Corinthian was going to be around $600 and the woven vinyl was around $800....

It was more, but not 3x or even double. I was quoted $700 for carpet. It wasn't double that's for sure.

Why are the replies all out of order? Feels nice on the feet by the way. Call Dave, he will send you a sample.

Custom Marine / Snap In gave me an approximate price for my 215 of $1500-1800 for Teak Weave.......can I get Dave's number?

Well heck....I was lied too! ha. Too little too late for me and my plane jane snap-in.
