Sea Ray 40 Sundancer 2016

I just saw the 400 fly, way better. They literally just cut the bridge off for this boat, obviously to save cost on the molds, but it's just plain ugly.

never saw one with the canvas up. didnt know it was even an option. my wife loved the layout inside and i was surprised by the visibility at the helm but that picture is unappealing

...They literally just cut the bridge off for this boat...

That was my exact thought. They are going for the Sedan Bridge layout / lifestyle, without the bridge. I do like some of the features on the boat, like the power sunshade, and the hydraulic
platform steps and the slider that opens the indoor / outdoor space.

I agree though, that is the boats worst angle, and the canvas has to go. Maybe it needs a small radar arch on the hardtop?

<edit>
I'm really surprised to read that this boat is offered (standard) with BIII sterndrives.

Zorba... I completely agree. My wife and undid go on it (we dock at CIC) and were even more disgusted. The layout isn't awful but the materials are. The beds were cheap foam, the dash panel was poorly constructed, etc. I'll take my '01 410DA over that any day!
