Missing CSR member

I was wondering about him. He just fell off the map.

Nope........wondering where they are also?

I don't think Boltman went anywhere. AKBASSKING was a regular poster then nothing for 9 months.

searaydad - one of my favorites
skip
hack4alivin - wait, I see that guy weekly, that's enough for me LOL

I hardly post anymore, seems CSR just isn't as fun as it used to be.

"Skip" is alive and well, enjoying his almost new 52DB. He has been very busy starting a new business providing high level services to Department of Defense contractors.

Do you mean "searay40dad" ? If that is who you mean, then Tim is in the same space as Skip, i.e. DOD service provider. He is still around, just extremely busy with business and considering a water front home and a smaller boat instead of a just big boat.

Thanks for the updates Frank,

I remember when Skip got the 420, really enjoyed his posts. I got to meet him at one of the Baltimore Inner Harbor get together, great guy.

Yes it is Tim (searay40dad), him and I had a lot of Ravens/Colts banter back in the early days, really liked him.

They both sound like they are doing well

A lot has changed since I first joined. Miss the old heavy contriubtors like foursons (Gary) and justducky (Frank) among others. ******** was great!... Ok, not really. Glad to still have Frank W around when sound advice and a level head are required...and Scott for the same reasons.

AKBASSKING has been posting from time to time on two other forums that I visit. I think he's been busy getting his ducks in a row so they can take off soon for AK.

You can keep up with AKBASSKING on his blog at http://alaskanseaduction.blogspot.com/

I miss being on this site on a regular basis as well and just happened to pop in here today (Unfortunately it was the right choice for me to sell my boat last year but still I miss boating a lot).

I hope all you folks have a great upcoming boating season.

Dave

I have been busy with life and havent been lurking nearly as much either lately. Plus the boat is for sale, so been trying to not get ideas of things to spend money on it.

The particular thread involved a question about a member's daughter going to an Ivy League school, and Wayne's response merited the two week vacation. It was well deserved, as those who saw the post could attest to.

Is there a censorship panel? Who decides what comments are allowed on this forum?

For the record, his was the first temporary ban I have witnessed since I took over administrator duties many years ago. The only member to be permanently banned was Wing*** who deserved that as well.

Interesting. I generally don’t spend much time on the TB, but I have seen some fairly inflammatory posts there in the past. I recall one a few years ago regarding our current President, and someone superimposing his head on a monkeys body. I believe it was up for a few days, but eventually taken down. Did he get banned?

Yep we have a great group of users here. Makes our job pretty cushy. Now about the pay. ROFL.

As a general direction Jim has always stated we are to keep this family oriented and mostly we do that. There is no formal way of dealing with offensive posts here as the admin handle them on a case by case basis. Those cases are usually because members notified admin a post was offensive to them and if the owner of the site agreed they were removed. Admin cannot physically view every post therefore we are the eyes that police our own club by reporting offensive posts for review by admin. Admin has been fair in my opinion in most if not all instances and given offenders chances. FYI unknowing members, to my knowledge, have rarely been a problem, it is members knowing better that push the limits. LOL
