Time for me to start

Curiuos why you Georgia boys even bother with winterizing. My bilge heater never turned on this winter. We boat all year up here.

My dock has probably 40 boats on lifts. I think most of them winterize. I just do the water system and use the bilge heater. If there is a storm coming that I feel might cause a power outage I go and lower mine into the water. Haven't done that this year. Year round boating for me as well-just no washing dishes for few months.

thinking about de-winterizing......looked at a future forecast on Accuweather....not "supposed" to be below 32 degrees at night for the next month and half :smt038

Im shooting for 3rd week of March. Hoping Mobell Audio is done with the upgrades by then. See u on the water this year

Boat gets picked up 4/1 for a short ride to get her new engine dropped in. We already bought it and it's in a crate at the shop. Aluminum anodes arrived from boatzincs.com in the mail today. Gotta head to WestMarine to grab some bottom paint and an extra pair of fuel filters. Polishing my props when the flitz gets here, prime delivery is tomorrow for the rest of my stuff.

ATD, let me know how the aluminum zincs work out for you please. Mine only survived 9 months. I replaced mine with heavy zincs this past haul out

First night on the boat last year was March 7th. I wont be quite that early this year, but hopefully in the next week couple of weeks.

Whats everyone's rule of thumb for taking the wrap off? Do you just keep an eye on the forecast? Our first year with a big boat and lots to do to get her ready for splash, some of which is in the bilge where I can't get without taking the wrap off.

Doc...what are you having done?

New Bluetooth puck, giving forward and rear facing speaker pods 100% seperate volume controls, moving cockpit TV from behind helm seat to port side above wet bar, adding dimmable RGB LEDs in cockpit, new Infiniti cockpit carpet. New bow cover by Paradise should just about be done

I'm getting ready for spring cleanup on the 205. Whalers been on standby, but the river has been so muddy, I don't want to stain it. Some dry sunny weather would be nice.

Yeah what is up with the potomac and and Occoquan rivers? They look like an oil and coolant milk shake for the last month.

I hope it clears up soon, I want to hit the water. The blizzard runoff and the oil spill in January didn't help at all.

Custom Bow cover is done, Bluetooth done. Stereo upgrade, cockpit LEDs, and moving cockpit tv to port hard top arm (above wet bar) happening on the 29th

super excited :smt038

Here's a pic of the tv (32") and a bad quality video sent by the installers. Hoping to get down this weekend to check it out. Boat was recommissioned yesterday!

video wont post. TV has built in Roku and I have an "old" unlimited data plan with ATT so I can use phone as a hotspot to stream Netflix, MLB, NHL, Hulu, Spectrum, and access my cloud based movie library on Vudu

its home. dirty, but home. and it is supposed to snow this weekend:huh:

... and it is supposed to snow this weekend:huh:

That's what they're saying here too... I haven't heard anything about accumulation though. As long as it doesn't accumulate, let it snow. I can get plenty of work done in flurries and 40ish degrees Fahrenheit!
