Been looking to buy a wireless soundbar tired of the wires & large speakers from my present system. I'm really leaning toward the Sonos Soundbar with Sub.
Anyone have any experience with Sonos or have experience with a quality wireless system, doing research & talking to salesman hasn't been much help.
My previous systems have been Mcintosh, Phase Linear and Bose.

I've invested over $10K in Sonos gear for my homes over the past four years so I guess you could say I'm a fan. Based on your prior choices in gear you clearly have a critical ear so only you can know if it meets your standard or is close enough given what the overall system offers. I have a few Playbars but the one in the most used setup is paired with a Sonos Sub and a Sonos Amp driving two quality in-ceiling speakers for the rear surrounds. I love it. This setup is in a cozy space with high ceilings and in my opinion sounds fantastic. In the spaces that solely have a Playbar or a Playbar and Sub it also sounds great, but these are not "critical listening" zones.

Sonos functionality is one of the reasons I'm such a fan. Even if you're a techie you'll love how simple it is to set up and you, your family and guests will love how intuitive it is to use. Have I gushed enough? My Playbar setup is hard wired to a router but I have found the wireless technology in my other systems to be fully reliable. I use the Logitech Harmony Elite and Ultimate remotes so it works a bit differently than more basic setups, but if I recall correctly, the Playbar will play nicely with your primary TV remote.

Find a showroom and take a test drive to see if the sound is to your liking, but I think my enthusiasm for the functionality and quality of the Playbar and Sonos in general is self-evident.

Dont hesitate to ask if you have any specific questions.

+1 on Sonos!!

I'm following this as I have been debating the same thing. I have the Sonos amp currently in use to power some hard wired speakers in my house. I have been debating going with the sound bar. I figure I'll need a combination of the Amp and some other wireless speakers to get my house wired up. I figure I'll be in for about $3500 when its all done. It ain't cheap but the functionality and seamless nature of the app are second to none.

I have a soundbar for our television and it does double duty for music along with two play 5's in the great room. You can't go wrong with the soundbar it is worth the price. The new play 5's are incredible as well. I have every Sonos product and I am very happy with each of them.

I've got a Playbar, Play:3 and a Connect.

It ain't cheap, but I love it. Great sound and ease of use.

Thanks for all the replies & great info we're going into local dealer with a sound room to look & listen to them after the 1st, with all the reviews it sounds like I can't go wrong. Sometimes it seems like there's to many choices, once you've spent the money there's no going back.

You will not be disappointed with Sonos... Worth every penny!
