I got the 14 ga. in of these and they work. The connection is way stronger than a crimp and even though they are pretty well sealed up upon installation I will add a dab of liquid tape to each end for water proofing. They are reusable also so no more cutting out old connections. Yep..they cost but for the few things I need to do are a very good solution especially for boat and boat trailer.
