Has anyone had an issue that while my running lights are on, not any of the labels on all of my dash switches are lit. I don't have them dimmed, so that's not it. Is there a fuse associated with the entire bank of switches? The boat is 3 years old, and I can't remember if they've ever worked.....is it possible that there's a wire that controls all of the lights for the panel, and isn't plugged in....anyway thanks for any thoughts or help....don

I don't know about the switches having a common fuse but I'll bet they all share a ground.
The switches should light up even if the running lights are off. Does the problem only occur while the running lights are on?

If it's like mine, it's not a typical light but a light rope that glows green. It terminates at a small transformer which is probably shot. I purchased a similar 12vt glowing light that looks fine, but the transformer has a high pitched whining squeal that can be heard unless the engines are above a quiet idle. Better than nothing...

The switches on mine do not light up until the nav lights are on.

thanks for the feedback - they actually do have a little light showing thru, but only when my vessel view screen is either covered so it's brightness doesn't interfere with the dash labels, or is off completely once I shut down the engines. Yes they illum when the running lights are on but are pretty low light so really hard to tell if they are on or not if there's any light in the cockpit at all ....thanks again..
