I've been itching to get a sedan bridge for a few months now, been researching the later 44s and went to view a few. I've youtubed the newer 450sedan bridges and my wife is very particular on those models, maybe cause of the built-in grill, maybe cause its newer and a bit more sleeker looking. Of course, they are out of budget and will have to wait till a good deal comes or a few years when the price points drops more.

Now I was looking around and someone mentioned a 480 sedan, but it seems they were made in late 90s early 2000s, so i'm not that interested in a boat that old...however I did see that sea ray made 47sedans between 2008-2011. Its quite interesting cause its laid out much different from their other sedans in the 40' range, but I haven't seen much or heard much board members talk about them.

I'm curious about how they perform, love it, hate it....any opinions would be helpful

Bahamabreisus is selling a beautiful 44 sedan bridge here in NC. I have seen this boat and it is perfect. I think the year is 2007. Listing on yatchworld.

I saw the thread, preferably I would like to sell to a dealer since i dont want to have to sell my boat and during the meantime, I would have 2 mortgages, 2 slips and 2 of everything.

My wife seen the 44 and wasnt impressed, I figured the 47 is a different layout and just wanted to find out opinions on them

PWM just sold a used 470 SB back in the spring I believe. Someone on this forum got one within the last year and said how much the loved it. I actually like the layout of the 470 that was made about 5-7 years ago and I'm not s huge fan of the sedan bridge.

If I recall from the other thread there weren't many made and they are hard to find. May be worth looking on MM's website.

In fact, here's one MM is selling in RI.

The 47 Sedan was a great boat, that came in right at the decline of the economy. They just didn't make many of them. The concern I have with the boat is I didn't find it very kid friendly or comfortable when you are hanging out inside. It has a great dining table, but not much else for quality seating. The aft galley is cool - and I love how it all opens up to the back cockpit.

Great party boat, love the mid stateroom, bathrooms, and forward berth. Love the helm. Hated the cabin for life with 2 kids, real meal prep, and a place to lounge and have coffee inside on bad weather days.

You're on track with the 44 Sedan/450 Sedan. You might also bump up and look at the 52/520. The 52 Sedan is our next boat.

Bough the 47 bridge in May 2015. It's a 2009 with less than 300 hours. Drove it more than 200 hours this summer.Went up the Trent Severn Waterway and came back through the 3 Great Lakes .More than 200 hours of navigating.Absolutley a great boat.Suprizing Searay did not continue production after 2010.went through 7to8 foot waves with no trouble at all.She is very smooth .Wife loves the aft kitchen and swing up window.Dog loves the transom.very easy boat to maneuver in tight marinas. Next summer its the east coast and the ocean. Can't wait!!
