Mid life crisis upgrade

Hello Club Sea Ray,
I am now to this community, currently I own an 87 Wellcraft 340 Gran Sport, which has been well cared for and loved. I have always admired the Sea Ray boats but they were always just out of reach for me. It seems recently my wife and I may have landed in the middle of our Mid Life crisis and are looking to finally upgrade to a Sea Ray 400 or 410.
We currently live in the Toledo area and are looking forward to hopefully soon owning our first Sea Ray.

Welcome. Personally,I would not consider being in the market for a 40 something SeaRay a crisis. We're not there yet but we are looking forward to it.
 
Welcome! You should have not trouble finding what you are looking for, there are so many out there. Just be patient and find a surveyor you trust.

I always really liked the Gran Sports. They are beamy and seem to make good use of the space.

That is not a mid-life crisis. A real mid-life crisis involves getting rid of the wife and THEN moving to a newer model.
A newer, larger Sea Ray is merely a natural life progression.

Welcome, and enjoy the crisis - tis' a good one when talking about upgrading something that floats. Enjoy the process.....
 
There are many 400 410 with gas engines. They are much less expensive than diesels. However, if plan on using the boat a lot, I would buy a diesel boat. Take your time and expand your search to get the best value for you money...

PS a mid life crisis for us was moving to a different country, giving up a tenured career with no idea what on earth we were going to do for a living. It worked out great, like your search will too:)
