Yes I have. It's pretty tedious. Remove all the wires from the back of the rocker switch, remove the switch out the front of the old panel, push it in from the front of the new panel and reconnect all the wires. The backlighting for your panels is held on with a foil tape. I removed mine with a razor blade and reattached it with clear gel double sided tape.

My panels were sun faded and now the helm looks brand new. Your fingers will be sore for a day or two but it will look great when it's done.

X2 what he said. The only think I would add is that I re-attached the glow light strip with metal foil duct tape from home depot. Its heat resistant and I think pretty much what SeaRay used at the factory.

I cut my old panels to pieces so I could get the switches out without unwiring all of them. Then reinstall one by one.

Looking to replace my burl gauge, and burl switch panels.

Looks like the switch panel just fits over the rocker switchs

without removing the rocker switchs....

Has any ever replaced those??

Thanks....

Sorry, you have to transfer the switches. The rocker pops off if you want. I took mine off because I changed out the rocker switches. You can the depress tabs at the back of the panel, and pop them through from the back of the panel and out the front.

I pulled my panels completely off the boat, after carefully marking the plugs (though I don't think any two halves could be plugged into a wrong half) and any other wires, and brought them home to work on. It was definitely tedious. I moved the each switch from the old panel to the new one, and hooked the wires back up. I still goofed some wiring, but some time with the schematics got me straight.

I highly recommend the FP Marine panels. They are beautiful. You can also change things as needed on the panel for free. I am in the process of putting on LED backlighting now. I don't want to deal with the inverter to power the factory lights.

I also used Fp for my panel replacement and they are great, they fit perfectly and you even have a choice of colors and textures and what each switch says... I was very happy and they are great people to work with

Bill,
I did the same as the above post but. I would suggest you also buy a special made tool (from FP) that is very inexpensive from FP to remove the rockers. The whole deal is not a bad job just a little time consuming.
