what i like about the long roundy races is you can miss the first 2 hours and actually not miss anything.....although that is 2 hours less ya have to listen to Waltrip....geeeez.

Yesireee. The best all around driver and teams capable of winning in the long haul, like Petty, Earnhardt, and Gordon are the true champs.

They had to change it though when Kenseth was winning the championship and being mathematically declared the winner with like 6 races left. That was the match that lit the fuse...

I've always had that same reaction. Except for when Jackie Stewart was the race expert for the Indy 500 back in the day. For some reason he kept me glued to my sofa for all 200 laps.

aww c'mon....a true CT would think that Nascar is having drivers wreck on purpose to get cautions and get "their" drivers up front....maybe youse guys will get em next time.
 
Let me try to set the stage, without writing a full page of useless information.
NASCAR is the conspiracy. The drivers know, but are not participating in the rouse. NASCAR is interested in making money. Drivers want to win. NASCAR steers the ship by setting rules, allowing cheating for desired outcome, and looking the other way when necessary. With about 20 laps to go it's on. Cooperation out the window, drivers want to win. NASCAR doesn't really care who wins, just whom ever puts butts in the seats needs to win.It's all about drama. NASCAR gives the series drama. Fairness be damned. BUT, NASCAR can't make tires blow out, or who gets taken out in the wrecks. Therefore races do have a randomness to them.
JG lead enough of the race to bring interest. At 50 to go, isn't in funny how Jeff just slipped out? Drivers are smart enough to know where their bread gets buttered, but their desire to win is greater than their ability to let someone win.
If you don't see it, or get it, you never will. Carry on!
 
I enjoyed the race. not much else to do out here in sh*thole country. :smt021
