I posted this in the spring fever thread but I can't contain my excitement so I'm starting a new thread to share with everyone. I think my hobby is turning into an obsession if not an addiction. At this exact time last year I found a mint 1997 Cobalt 200 that was being offered for a steal of a price and I purchased it on the spot when the outside temp was -10º.
Well it happened again. As much as I loved the 200, I recently found an even better one at another steal of a price. I've spent the last 3 weeks negotiating and found a buyer for my 200 while in that process.
Here's my new to me 1997 Cobalt 232. Compared to my 200, this one is 3'8" longer, 4" wider and it has a 502 MAG with 415 HP, 250 hours, most of the interior has been reupholstered, it has completely new sound system and the previous owners added an extended swim platform last season that looks factory. It also has a custom Eagle trailer with custom wheels.
