Looks great Jason! Thanks for putting it together. Looking forward to next year. Great idea on moving it away from Christmas. I'm sure the turnout will be even better.

Awesome! I got to see my former boat.....290DA. That marina looks very nice.

Quint - your former boat is in good hands - very well taken care of!

The Paper District Marina is what I would consider a hidden gem. The docks are very nice (although "A" dock had some issues with sea gulls!). The Dockside Cafe had good food and drinks! You are within walking distance of downtown Sandusky which has several shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. And at a $1 per foot for dockage, you can't go wrong.

We'll be going back next year - hope more can join us.

Nice job on the video Jason! Always entertaining. How did you go about gathering sponsors for the goodie bags and raffle prizes? Interesting addition to the event.

Ken,

When we had our first get together three years ago I thought it would be a neat idea if each attendee (boat) could get something. I started contacting manufacturers/service providers associated with the recreational marine industry. I explained who we were, what we were doing and what my idea was. My goal was two fold - compile a bag of samples and literature much like one would collect while walking the aisles of a boat show. My other goal is that we (not just us Lake Erie folks, but CSR) might generate some business for these companies by looking to them when we make future purchases. That is why I posted their names and websites on our rendezvous thread.

This year, several vendors stepped it up and provided some real nice items that were given away in a raffle.

Most companies are willing to provide something. I try to get the "national, well known" companies as well as some smaller ones that are just getting started.

It's fun and it seems like everyone enjoys their "bag of goodies!"

Huh, my invite must have been lost in the mail.... :smt017

Great Video Jason. Many thanks to Jason and Casey for all the effort setting this up. Just sorry we couldn't stay longer. Already have it on the calendar for next year!

PM me your address if you need a personal invite, Would love to have you come out man!

Hey, thanks everyone, I love meeting the new people and we already have such a great group of boaters that have been faithfuls. It's always a great time just seems like there's never enough time to spend with everyone!
