AC Delco Spark plug rebate through 12/2014

I ordered a set of the long thread AC MR43LTS through Amazon and was given the rebate price. My '00 SR 210 BR had the AC MR43T plugs which fit but don't have the same reach as the AC MR43LTS as listed on the intake cover. Also, changed the plug wires, rotor cap , rotor and sensor wheel. Fired right up. I am hoping my performance and mileage will pick up a little. Anyone changing the combo rotor and sensor wheel will need to use the medium strength(blue) Loctite to secure the rotor to the shaft. Info in the SELOC manual says to use the red Loctite 271, but its higher strength may prohibit future disassembly. I contacted Loctite for their recommendation and was told the blue was adequate and still allowed for disassembly. I used a small artist brush to gently apply a small amount to both rotor key and shaft. SELOC says to take out entire distributor and "glue" upside down to prevent rundown into shaft bushing. I stuffed a small wad of shop towel under the sensor wheel and had no problem. Just don't overdo the amount of blue Loctite, and be sure to remove the shop towel before reassembly of the rotor cap..

Just found out today that AC's aren't the recommended spark plug from Merc. They told me NGK ITR4A15 is the plug for my engine.

Ordered A/C Delco 41-993 plugs from Amazon at $5.49 each. After the A/C Delco $2.00 per plug rebate along with the instant $1.37 per plug amazon promotion, the final cost was $2.11 per plug. Not bad for Iridium spark plugs!!
