Tota Newbie.. Close to buying a searay 320. Need some advice.

Is there a link you can post to the sale. Too many unanswered questions. Drives? FWC or RWC? Age of manifolds/risers? Engine package? Carb or EFI? Age of bottom paint? Maintenance records? The list is endless and each item affects price and value.

Don't really think he wants advice. I've asked several times about all the important variables with no response

Good point.

One of the great things about this site is the members try their best to get owners and prospective owners to keep as much fuel money in their pockets as possible. Probably because we've all spent too much at one time or another and later regretted it. C'est la vie.

In general the 320 is a pretty trouble free boat. Maintenance can be tight. But you get used to it. The motors if well maintained are easily capable of getting 2000 hours.

I think the yearly investment may have made him think twice. Sad thing is I was being very conservative in my estimate.

I'm actually trying to get all the full specs on the boat. I'm waiting for some answers from the seller. I actually almost bought a 2004 with 350 hours today. V drive and was very well maintained and had the survey done on it. It ended up selling for $93,000 Canadian. I was almost going to buy it for $92,000 and everything to me said it was the right purchase.

One thing I noticed was it had the MP magnum "horizon" mercruiser engines on them.. What exactly does that mean? What is the difference between the "horizon" and engine without the "horizon"?

Very disappointing today. This boat was mint and would of been win win situation.

The horizon is closed cooling which is ideal for salt water environments. My 2007 has 355 hours on it. I upgraded from a 215/260 now the 320. I bought the 320 new and really like it.

I know where an immaculate 2005 320 is here in the Midwest for 90K (all fresh water). About as well taken care of as it gets these days. I am guessing shipping at 5-6K. Check Marine Max Branson
