Official Frank Webster Day

I think it should be more than a day, We could dedicate a whole month to him.

Thanks guys, for all the kind words. I do appreciate your recognizing the little contribution I make..........

Now, lets all go back to our regularly scheduled programming........honestly, I think the usual October threads on the various ways to winterize a water heater are more interesting than this!

Joe...don't feel bad. Frank would love to brief you on why you should sell your boat and buy a larger diesel powered SR sedan bridge. Just ask him! ;-)

Frank, I have been a member since we moved from the old site, and I don't say much and lurk often. However, even though we haven't met (yet), nor have we spoken by phone, you have indirectly helped my boating experience through knowledge, opinion and recommendation. I think it is important that you know that your passion of boating has helped and motivated others. I hope we'll get the opportunity to meet once I can convince SeaRay to sell me a 510 DA at a super duper really ridiculous nice-guy price. After all, I'll need someone to guide me through those Cummins.

Again, many thanks,

Mike

Yeah right Mike. Keep dreaming. That's not Chinese...

I just wish Frank was a bit closer to Northeast, so many of us could have pleasure meet and thank him in person. Salute to Frank Webster Day

Thanks for all your help, Frank!

Hell, man...

We are kicking the idea of having another Frank Webster Day again tomorrow!

What do you mean next year?

I thought the symbol on the back of Turtlesboat's GF is Frank's phone number in Chinese?

Yes Frank is the voice of reason on this site along with a few others. The thing I've learned by reading his posts and interacting with him is that his advice is solid. If you ask for his opinion, take your time to consider it carefully. Many here seem to discard his advice very quickly after he's spent a considerable amount of time preparing and typing up a reply. Then when you ignore it, I don't really think he enjoys replying "I told you so" so it will be worded more gently or worse, you'll be ignored.

Yes Frank, Thank you for everything you do and everything you are.

Frank was a huge help in purchasing our current boat. He helped us avoid several problematic boats and taught me about contracts. Frank's best advice though came out of no where. Frank figured out that we really needed to slow down and figure out what boat we wanted and what we were going to do with it. Frank told us when we found the boat it would talk to us. My wife and I then took a couple a couple of months off from boat shopping. When we returned we new just what we wanted and started stalking it. With the negotiating skills that Frank had given us we were able to complete a deal that Frank would be proud of. Thank you very much Frank for all of your hand holding along the way. So far we have enjoyed the new boat and it would never have happened without you.

I also would like to thank the members of CRS that spoke to me about various boats over the years. Everyone of you was a great big help. This sight is the best.
