Well after a couple years chirping about trying to meet up in the Canadian Gulf islands, Dave "Westie" and I finally met. He sent me a PM couple of days ago comfirming a previous PM that we were discussing this trip at this time. Any way I me tionedthat we would be in Telegraph harbour for three days. He and his bride showed up yesterday afternoon in his 260Da a year newer than mine.(pictured on the right)

I'm here with my family on our annual Family cruise. My cousin Meghan, her husband Greg and their kids in their 240DA, my cousin Brady (Meg's brother), his Bride Michelle and their kids aboar their 320DA and my Uncle Bill (Brady and Meg's Dad) who decided to join us last minute on his 185BR. I'm glad he came. We've had great water so he's doing just fine.

Nice pics Todd looks peaceful, hope the fog stays away on the way home we're just going out fogs starting to lift 3 miles visibility it was 1/2 mile 2 hours ago.

Nice pics. One of the things I enjoy most about being part of any boating website is meeting up with others that you "know" from the site. Being able to put faces with the names makes this whole thing very special.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos.

After leaving Telegraph harbour we headed north to stay in Pirates Cove for the night. One night there and then on to Conover cove on Wallace Island. From there we went to Saturna island to visit the Winery. Heave rain was encountered while we were heading there. Had perfectly calm seas to head farther north up the straits to Comox. Going to stay here for a couple of nights then its across the straits once again to Desolation sound. After that who knows. We still have two weeks out here.

That night at Telegraph harbour looked like a Searay convention with all the boats there. Was great to finally meet up with You Todd.

We're back home now, Nehalennia is washed up and tucked away in her garage until next weekend. It was great to meet you. I'm sorry our "family time" precluded a longer conversation with you, but that one night was nice. Have a great trip Dave and soak it up. One day of rain was well worth the calm seas and otherwise perfect weather we had.
