1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic City

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

We are here, H34 Slip. No welcoming committee, no fanfare, nothing. Is this the right place?

They're at the pool on the roof is my guess!

Either that or they're taking the Jitney for joy rides!

Despite Dale's smart comments, he was eventually welcomed to the marina and into the group.

It is late and I am tired, but leave it suffice to say that we had another hugely successful event this year. Photos and videos to follow shortly.

We also want to thank a couple of special dignitaries who saw fit to take time out of their busy day to come and join us for a few hours. We were happy to welcome, Mr. Tim Schiek, President of Sea Ray Group and Mr. Brad Anderson, Vice President Marketing and Planning, Brunswick Recreational Boats (Sea Ray, Bayliner, Meridian) and the world-famous Captain Rusty Higgins of Sea Ray to our little soiree.

Some of us had an opportunity to sit down with Tim and Brad for a frank discussion about the company, while offering input from the consumer/user side of their business. I hope they felt the discussion was as beneficial as the CSR folks did.

More to come later.

Thanks Rick and Ron for all you've done and do. What a great evening!

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

I would also like to thank Rick and Ron for their tireless efforts and dedication toward this event. Everyone had a great time, the food was fantastic, and, hopefully, the folks from Sea Ray found the event worthwhile, while also gaining some positive and useful feedback from the group.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to a first class event.

Dale

Want to echo the thanks to Ron and Rick. Great meeting some of you I apologize for not meeting more of you all. Also the music was great! A step above the lounge act in the hotel. We are still here tonight if anyone has dinner plans PM me if you do not mind 2 more. Safe trip home to all hope you are staying till Monday as that looks a lot better then Sunday. Take Care.

Great time yesterday and last night. Good times that's for sure! An amazing amount of effort was put into this event by Rick and Ron as well as many others to make this truly a special event and I don't regret for a minute taking this long trip to experience this. I recommend this to all CSR members that may not be able to bring your own boat. Making new friends is always a worthwhile adventure. Many pictures to follow after we make it back to California!

Don't you all have better things to do than post what a good time you had?

Nope...
I'm happy to report that the sneaker made it through the ocean without tipping over or sinking. Of course, I still have to make it back!
It really was a great time, and the prez seemed to like my boat a lot. I told him to revive the sneaker! Lol.
We did miss your wit and wisdom though Gary. We saved you some tee shirts.
Thanks to Ron and Rick for all the effort, these guys really do bust their butts on this event.
Well done, boys!

Re: 1st Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Another good day of socializing and sightseeing. No one has been near a computer because everyone I out on the docks talking to old friends and making new ones.

Photos to follow at some point in the next few days because:

without a picture, it didn't happen...

This year we did have some cool credentials and a commemorative coin since the event was in honor of our departed friend Dominic:

We are getting underway in about 10 minutes with St. Somewhere, headed south. I may get a chance to post some photos tonight, but, the bulk will probably be later this week.

We are going to get some breakfast, and we'll be underway right after that. Safe journeys everyone - be safe out there. And again, I would like to thank everyone for making this a very memorable event. We had a blast.

Sea Gull II will be getting underway at 0900, next stop Red Bank, NJ. It was a great event and a super weekend. Thanks to Ron and Rick for all the hard work. Great to see so many of our CSR (and real-life) friends.
