Hi Folks- Hopefully a new SeaRay owner on the way.. I have settled on a boat I like and am researching.. I am looking for a later model (2005 or so & up) Sundeck 220.. My girl loves the enclosed head and mini sink... I am trying to find year over year model changes.. ie from 2004 to 2005 did SeaRay change/upgrade anything on the 220... from 2005 to 2006, etc. Is there a resource on this forum or online that has detailed information like this? Thanks much!

you can log on to SeaRay.com and look up the models by year with all the specs for each year... You can then compare....

Thank you. I finally did find that link on the SeaRay website and was able to download the spec sheet for each year.. The 220's came out in 2002; The 350Mag w/B3 was added in 2003, in 2007 SeaRay completely changed the Sundeck 220 design (bolt on swim platform, sun deck over engine cover, no sink behind the drivers seat, etc.). All the information I was trying to hunt down! 2006 it is for me.. not a fan of that bolt on swim platform.. I love the look of the integrated design much better. Thanks again!

I don't know what your budget is, but...
one of the few BAD design issues with SeaRay's Sundecks is the anchor locker, which also has the bow ladder. I love my Sundeck, but I hate the way the anchor locker hatch opens. It opens up from front to rear which forces you to reach over the hatch or bend around the side. It is very awkward and hard on your back. It makes getting to the anchor very combersome. I don't know why it took Sea Ray so long to change the design, but they finally changed the hatch to open to the side, making its contents easily accessible, in 2009 I believe.
