Cummins low oil pressure warning

450 Cummins Diesels

I have the cummins 450's in my 2002 460 Sundancer. The port engine would not start and my panel said oil pressure warning, but the level checks full and has no leaks anywhere. Any idea what this could be? Waiting for Cummins to come out and check on it.

Can you give more details? Just me is right, difficult to get oil pressure without the motor running. Also you may want to post this thread in the diesel section or the 460 thread for more responses. Also boat diesel.com is a great source. Please post what you find, good luck.

Yep - inaccurate indication until the engine starts. So, why is the engine not starting? Lets see, fuel, air, ignition. Well, don't check for ignition. One down, two to go. Maybe we should say fuel, air, compression? Bet its a fuel thing - Maybe a fuel pump?
