Starting to count down the days until the shrinkwrap comes off and I start my yearly ritual of compounding, waxing, buffing..so on and so forth !!! Looking at that get wet date of April 71h,2012. Spring is just around the corner and those 70 degree days are not far from us now. :smt038

I'm right there with you! Looking to go in April 5/6 and trying to decide when to take off the shrink wrap. Figure I need at least 2 weeks without shrink wrap before going in the water.

Saying prayers to the weather gods.. went in last year at the same time and the boat never left the slip for a month due to high water.. boating on a river can be a challenge...

Sorry Guys, I have to brag. I am on the boat now, watching TV with a portable heater. I finally moved to a covered slip and left her in the water. I have to use the bath house, but it sure is nice to be on the boat.. It really is a nice little man cave in the winter..... I dont think I'll ever do the hull out/shrink wrap stuff again...

Started cleaning the inside this weekend, of course I just bought her a week ago today and just got her local versus a two hour ride. Looking at bringing her up to the hometown marina the 7 th of April. Gonna try a wax the hull to the bottom paint here in the next four weeks if the weather cooperates.

I'm a little north of you guys so probably a bit behind you. I'm shooting for April 1st or so for taking off the wrap depending on the forecast that week, and going back in the water around mid April.

Just got my new pads/microfiber towls/bonnets this week. Next weekend is the first weekend home without the girlfriend in a month - I plan to buy a case of beer and put the boat on the rack Sat AM and clean below the rub rail, then drop it in the water Sat afternoon and clean it/install the new stereo/radio Ill order this week and sleep on it until Monday AM!

Shooting for April 1 as well...removed the helm panel on sunday to repair an inoperable cabin door. Also need to replace the fridge, install a new water heater, new horn, new wiper motor, new camper back...$$$...:smt001

Dicor, you should have been working on it all winter! Check out what I have been doing by following my link. If the weather cooperates I should be ready by mid April.
I would if I could it's 1 1/2 hours away and shrink wrapped. We spend almost every weekend on it and a lot of my to do list can be done then. All my other boats were trailered and kept in my garage over the winter.....really miss that.

I am lucky. The boat is about 1/2 hour away so even just running down for a couple of hours is not bad. But the weather has not be cooperating on the weekends. I am down to where I need the temps up around 50 degrees to work or no wind during the day on the weekend. The black tarp I put over the boat will get nice and warm under there as log as there is no wind. I need one good day to finish the glass and epoxy work. Then I can put the inside back together which I can warm up.

And just like that there is snow on the ground. That's OK, calling for sun and 50 on Friday.

Jeff....congrats on the boat, as you can see I own the same make, model and year. I would love to see some pics.
