Aaron may be good but the team is the key to the 13-0 record. With the tools he has in his tool box there is no reason they can't go for 16-0 season. I do look for a loss after they clinch playoff field advantage. Maybe put 2nd string in to play some more before playoffs. A few losses to save the team is very acceptable though I believe Aaron will start every game.

One guy I would put pressure on is Finley. He can't keep dropping passes in the open field. He did make a nice play in the 4th quarter but I would have a hard time believing he could get the job done. Jennings and Nelson are great and worthy of recognition.

Defense left much on the table against Manning but managed to keep the run marginal. Manning has a great arm and an offensive line that understands what he wants and expects of them. Hard win tonight but we’ll take it.

Your opinions are quite welcome.

Their defense better step it up, because Rogers and the offense are able to keep them in the game. The Giants do not have that good of an offense and that threw quite a few points at the Pack today.
I can't talk too much, because my Seahawks haven't been consistent this year, but at least the defense has been playing well.

This was a good test of their mental focus. Yes, the defense allowed the G-men to tie it up but they were relentless. The G-men were going to an OT that never happened. I hope they do not pi$$ away a chance at a perfect season like the Colts did a few years ago. I agree they are a great team and further think Rodgers is clearly in the elite QB status. I still think this season proves what some of us thought, Peyton Manning not playing has shown he is hands down the league MVP, NOT playing. MM

Absolutley spot on about the D-fence. The secondary played poorly tonight leaving many open field plays unchallenged. Only 2 sacks for the night. They played tonight like they were tired. No way to start the playoffs.

I see your logic MM. Can't believe that one guy could have such an impact on a teams destiny but looks like you may be right in this case.

They built the ENTIRE team around him, including the coaching staff. I feel it still all gets run by him before it is done. There probably hasn't been a more involved team member since player-coaches. MM

The games seem easily win-able to go for the perfect season. The uncomfortable part is if they play reserves in the final two games they will be doing it against division rivals. That would stink as a fan. The Pats in the AFC, the NFC's Pack, and Saints seem to be the teams to beat to get the prize in Indy. 49er's have little playoff experience and do not seem like they could handle the others. MM

p.s. I was always a Pack supporter when the Colts sucked and Brett was leading the charge, so now this Pack fair weather fan is back. :smt043

LOL. I believe you're not the only one here truth be told. :smt001 Back in the day when there were way fewer teams many were Pack, Dallas, Steeler, etc.. fans. As the team numbers grew many left for new blood and city/state loyalty.
I'm a closet Steelers fan as I grew up in Pa. then moved to the mid west as a teen. Last year I couldn't lose both my teams were in the SB.

Years ago I was a Packer fan and Steelers fan also. In our area during the 70's it was almost a requirement that you support the Steelers because Iron Mike was one of our hometown products.

Guys,

The Giants offense isn't that bad. They are near the top of the NFL in passing so don't get too bent about that. The surprising thing is that the running game was actually present somewhat yesterday. That had been poor all season. The big difference there was that they lost 2 offensive linemen Sunday morning, Andrews with pulmonary embolisms (which can be life threatening) and Bass, the center, with a "Headache"? Put that b!tch on a bus for "busts"!! Let's not forget the 12th man, or men, the Pack had playing with them yesterday. Some calls were Horrible, but this is nothing new. I have been getting more and more fed up with this league as the calls get more and more inconsistant, BOTH WAYS. This may sound like sour grapes but I have been having trouble enjoying any NFL games the last few years due to the poor officiating.

I'm not saying that is why the Giants lost, it just tilted the field a little and take nothing away from the Packers-They are a very good team! You can't spot them points (Eli's pick six) or lose questionable calls or you will get killed. But hey, they are defending champions playing at a very high level, they are gonna get calls. Like in boxing you have to knock out a champion, you can't out point them. Hat's off to the Packers, they showed why they were champions last year and have every right to be the favorite this year.

PS- I always liked the Pack except when we play them! I might even buy some of their stock that went on sale today!!

I can agree that the calls were terrible on both sides. Jennings first TD was questionable at best. I was surprised they gave him the TD. Everyone was mugging everyone. They called NY for contact within the 5 yard line yet let receivers get killed in the back field. The fair catch rule was never applied and NY gained 15 yards for it on the return.
Just plain bad calls for both teams.

I have great respect for Eli and the Giants. GB does too today I'm sure!

See you in the playoffs....

Looks better for GB than 49'ers today. MM

No doubt! The Niners can't score a freaking touchdown to save their own lives. Alex Smith is not a good QB and will most likely keep them from meeting Green Bay in the Championship game unfortunately.

13? I hope I am reading the future. We are12-0. This sunday I will be at the packer /raiders game.

Well I hope you are feeling fit today after partying the GB victory yesterday. I guess my 13 wins was a prediction instead of a typo. LOL.
Do you think they will use Flynn in the second half through the rest of the season? I would even if it's a loss. Why waste a good QB before the playoffs?

There is no ON-OFF switch, do not make the mistake Indy did and play soft for the playoffs while blowing a perfect season. "Just win baby" MM
