Sitting at dock tonight and an annoying alarm sound goes off in the compartment under the steering wheel - any idea what this could be?

Probably low oil pressure alarm that would normally stop after engine starts? If it just comes on while at rest without the engines running, sounds like the sensor is FUBAR??? That is the only alarm that I am aware that I have on my boat. I didn't think that it was possible for them to go into alarm without the keys turned on though.

My high water bilge pump in rear of the cabin occasionally fires off for a few seconds. The checkvalve in the pump outlet has a very slow leak so fluid (water/antifreeze from winterization) slowly leaks back from the outlet hose into the bilge pump sump. I would expect this to be a very likely culprit.

Low depth warning triggered by weeds, etc.?

Turns out this is from the shower sump - every time it fills up, the alarm goes off, then it drains out - I have put some bilge cleaner down it, but not sure exactly where the sump is located to do more cleaning- would this be in the engine compartment area near the gas tank?

My shower sump is located in the floor just below the stairs by the head. Not sure about your location
