Obama, does not Realize the Reality on the Ground in Israel. Not to mention Hamas and giving up Jerusalem. I'd like to see the Palestinian Authority keep Jerusalem an Open City..... Ha!
 
It's unfortunate, but I think understanding isn't the issue... Just another step in his plan to "remake" America, our values, our relationships, etc.
 
Whether you believe in fate, coincidence, or biblical history one only needs to look at those who opposed Israel to see their ends. Call it what you will, history is what it is. It truly is not about Palestine, Egypt, or any other country. It’s about Israel.

My opinion, take it or leave it.

Obama's statements do not represent a significant policy shift.

I have been to the region. My view is that there is no shortage of adults acting like children over there.

The other thing that is really shocking is how small that region actually is. The Jordan River to the Mediterranian is actually a fairly short drive.
