I'm guessing someone was making the trip to the Bahamas in their bowrider, brought it along for some tunes along the way but found the normally comfortable 12 foot swells a bit unnerving with the added weight. So they left it and continued in their cruise.

It had to be done with a pontoon boat. Those things are way to heavy to put it in the back of the boat and go out and drop it.

I wonder how much this "art project" will cost him if the Coast Guard gets involved (or a boater hits piano "debris" once it breaks up). Those wires will play hell with an out drive (on floating wood).
