lean back-relax and go forward-AWESOME!

Wow, I wonder how long he had to hold his breath. I can't even imagine how hard he must have hit when he got to the bottom of the falls.

Palouse Falls State Park is only about 50 miles from here. It's pretty amazing to drive out there through the dry land wheat fields and see the falls.

He's not nuts: no brains.

His paddle was a little shorter...glad he held on to what he had left. Without it, it possibly could've been a different outcome. He's a very lucky dude.

2 words came to mind when I saw this, the first word is close but the second one wasn't "amazing"

Although I bet the impact wasn't that bad, with all the water around him. When I say 'that bad' I mean compared to falling 189 feet into lake.

I know a few people that I would encourage to try that...most of them can't swim.

I'm having a hard time believing it.:huh::wow:
It happened. The local newspapers carried a story on it when he did it. Of course, they were only relying on the information provided by the guy and the video of him going over. That video would be hard to fake so I think he actually did it.

Nuts.
