Pulling cabinets out of the galley

I actually built 340da and 340ec back in 1988. It's been along time, but If I remeber correctly you need to remove the cabinet drawers first, there should be a 2"x2" aluminum plate on the inside of the drawer, at the rear, this holds the drawers in. Remove the screws then remove the drawers.

Once you get the drawers out you can look inside the cabinet and find the 3"x3" anlge brackets the hold it in. There should also be 3"x3" brackets that hold the counter top to the cabinet. Look up and you will see them.

Let me know if this helps? Jim

I should have stated the cabinets over the galley. I did find some L-brackets and and removed the screws, but could not seem to budge it. is the top one all one piece or in sections. I have tow things to do, one is to replace the headliner and the other one is behind the speaker in the cabinet above the galley, I need to get to the wires that are there.

I did a oh S($^ thing last year when I was replacing the new horn. The previous owner pulled the old one out, plugged the holes poorly and water came in. I was pulling on wires but could not find any that were loose. I though I had the right ones, but ended up cutting the windshield wiper wires.

So not to make the same mistake as before, I want to pull that section out so I can see what I am doing.

Thanks for any help!
