What is your occupation?

You guys have some interesting jobs. I'm an Engineer for a large government organization where “It’s not just a job it’s an adventure.” Kind of stuff you see on future weapons.

As an IT consultant I've worked in industries from banking to healthcare and I always love working with Compliance Officers :smt013. Just when we have all of the requirements nailed down they come waltzing in and let us know why they're no good.

When I was consulting, I always wondered if I should tip the compliance people. I couldn't have asked for a better aid to generating more billable hours.

Best regards,
Frank C

Only thing better would be getting paid to test drive boats
Years ago I saw a program on the test drivers for Mercruiser.
These guys work like 8-10 hrs. per day in all weather testing equipment. he worst part is they have a strict program of rpm settings and other parameters they must follow. Believe me this guys get fried by the end of the day.

Try listening to screamo metal for 8 hours straight and see if you don't become a wife beater.

There are a lot of new people here since this thread, myself included. Maybe we get it going again? I am curious to see how many of the original posters are still in the same field other than the obvious (retired folks).

I am a Sr Project Manager for a large electrical contractor and currently build hospitals. If you don't know, hospital construction in California is a pain in the a$$... but I have a good job!

Mortgage industry (loan officer) and the state of Florida sucks right now. I've read where 48%-52% of all Floridians are upside on their homes. Refi boom my A$$

Still a Realtor, just don't get paid any more.:smt089:grin:

Own and operate a commercial/residential general construction company.
